Many people think that they need to know all the slot strategies in order to win a slot game. The harsh reality of this thought is, there really are no slot strategies, and there is no hidden ace that helps you win on slots. You need to understand how slot games are won and develop your own slot strategy.

Slot games are won solely on random number generators. There is no sure fire way to beat those random number generators or RNG’s as they are sometimes called. This being said, there are many other slot strategies to help you maximize your winnings and lessen the amount you lose in the online slots.

Slot Strategy 1: Manage the money

The very first slot strategy is to know your bankroll. The bankroll is the amount of money you can afford to lose and spend playing online slots. Bankroll management is crucial for the success of future playing. One of the best slot tips I can give anyone is to set aside a specific amount to play on. Stretch your money or bankroll out over time; don’t put all your eggs in one basket so to speak. If you feel that you are not doing so well on one slot game, then move on to another! Once the bankroll is gone, do not continue to play on any other money. Come back to play some other day. Do not have in your head that you can win back your loss. On the flip side, if you do win, pocket some of the winning; do not play out all of what you have won. This will defeat the whole purpose of playing. If you play multiple times a week or month, divide your bankroll up per expected amounts of play, this will help your bankroll last. You’re here to win, so why not stop playing when you do win and make the most of it!

Slot Strategy 2: Know the games

The second slot strategy is to know the pay tables and the percentage of payouts. This is the return of the amount of money that the player has played over time. Most slot games are programmed to pay a return of at least 82-98% of the amount that has been wagered. Slot machines that pay out the best are often called loose slots; these are the slots that you would want to always try to play. Time spent: Change your time spent on each slot machine. Keep moving from slot machine to slot machine, and try not to play the same slot twice. If you are playing online slots, pick a specific time that you will be done playing, an amount of money that you want to spend, and divide it up between the most amount of slot games that you can. Sometimes this is called the “chicken strategy”.

Betting Amount: Start out on the lowest wager, and increase the wager one coin at a time till the max coin is played. Once all amounts have been played, start decreasing the coin amount till you’re at the lowest denomination again. An example would be to play one coin like this: 1111222233331111. Keep these patterns going until you have used up your bankroll on this slot game. Then move on to the next slot. The main factor in this type of strategy is to know in advance how much you can wager over time on the machine along with how long you are going to play. Take any extra winning with you to the next machine but do not add it to your bankroll.

Spin Amounts: This slot strategy is pretty simple, determine how many spins you want to play on a specific machine before moving to the next machine. This would also need to take into consideration your bankroll. Many players using this slot strategy determine the bankroll per machine, and determine the wagering amount divided by the amount of spins. So let’s say you are playing on a slot game that is a quarter wagers, with max bet being $.75, and you have $5.00 as your bankroll; you would then be able to spin 6 times on max bet, and 6 times on the minimum bet then walk away to move on to the next machine. This is often called play and run, and seems to keep the fun going in slot playing!
